Future Assemblies Lab is the academic research branch of Future Assemblies.
FA_Lab is based at the University of Manitoba, in the Centre for Architectural Structures and Technology (C.A.S.T.)
FA_Lab balances hands-on learning and experimentation with computational integration. We use digital tools to experiment with new methods of creating resource-efficient constructive methodologies.

- May-- Three undergraduate researchers are joining the lab this summer to assist in research on digital material passports, housing design, and advancing the Pixelframe research.
- April-- Paper abstract accepted to IASS 2026 in Torino.
